## Hello World Welcome to my humble site, where shitpost, homosexuality, stupidity and furry nonsense awaits you. Jokes aside, this first article will be quite short, and will first focus on the techincal side of things, and then why i want to do this blog. ## Technical stuff Currently the blog part of 'efy.re', is written in html + css, and nothing else. This site and both logseq-related subdomains (aka 'rpg.efy.re' and 'garden.efy.re'), are hosted on github-pages. I also own 3 sites with various domains name, and they are all on github-pages too. This is an issue for me. Even though i like free stuff, i quite dislike microsoft for their shitty behavior. In the near-future, i'll migrate my services either to a personal physical server, or to an other service (maybe a paid one). I also have a few ideas of stuff i could do for this site: - rss feed, cause why not - do some experimentation with webassembly - (a terminal with a micro shell could be fun) - port the site to tailwindcss - automate, and create some CI/CD shit to convert my posts. - build a fucking cms from the ground up, because why the fuck not - build a processor from scratch - code the os - build a webserver - comment section (lol never) ## 'Philosophical' stuff One thing that sadden me from my teenage years, is that i haven't left behind much. I never was a huge prolific writer, or artist or anything, but i know i did try to create. And most of it is lost to time. From a fantasy alphabet i was creating in the classroom instead of paying attention, to shitty lore for my warhammer 40k chapter, or my first steps in the furry fandom. All is lost. I want to leave something behind. I want to be able to look back in a few years, and say "Woah, i was cringe" while looking at my posts. This is not something that can be achieved with to microblogging social networks. I love the fediverse, but those messages are temporary, the few interesting one are drown by the noise. That's why i want to create this blog. So i can create. So i can fail. So i can learn. So i can be weird. So i can be cringe. So i can be proud of what i did in a few years. So i can laugh at my naive stupidity when i'm older. That is also why, once a post is published, i will never modify it. So than i can continue moving forward. (two exceptions: if it has accessibility issue, or if it is offensive and insensitive, in which case, i have to either correct or delete it, and apologize)
